Can You Reuse False Lashes?

The way you care for your lashes will affect how long they last. Here are five tips to make your false lashes last longer. Read this if you want to extend the wear of your false lashes. 

Tip 1: Pull Your Lashes Off Gently 

Instead of yanking off your falsies at the end of the day, use a cotton swab soaked in an oil-free makeup remover or micellar water and run it over the band. Once the glue loosens, you can pull them off gently starting from the outer corners 

Tip 2: Opt For Micellar Water

Although makeup removers are perfectly fine to use for luxury false eyelashes, micellar water is a gentler alternative. It works for both synthetic and mink lashes and are great for removing mascara or glue from your falsies. 

Tip 3: Don’t Add Mascara

Or, if you must, apply mascara to your own lashes before applying falsies. Not applying mascara will help your lashes last longer and prevent them from excessive buildup. 

Tip 4: Clean Your Lashes After Each Wear

As much as you want to leave your lashes on your bathroom counter, cleaning false lashes after wearing them is extremely important. It prevents glue and mascara from clumping and helps your lashes maintain its shape. Tip 5: Store Your Lashes Properly 

After you dry your lashes out on a paper towel, make sure to store them in a place that is safe. Any countertop is off limits by the way.
